A helmet. A legend. A track that made history.
This weekend, the Circuito de Jerez celebrates its 40th anniversary during the MotoGP round — and Nolan is proud to be part of this iconic milestone.
Joining the celebration is Carlos Checa — legendary rider, long-time friend, and ambassador of Nolan — who takes the honorary lap wearing a one-of-a-kind helmet, crafted exclusively for this special occasion. Perfect synthesis between the iconic globe graphic that distinguishes Carlos Checa’s replicas and the Jerez Circuit 40th Anniversary logo.
It’s more than just a helmet. It’s a tribute to racing heritage, shared values, and the deep mutual respect between two motorsport icons: Jerez and Nolan.
Following the honor lap, this commemorative helmet will be enshrined in the Jerez Circuit Museum, becoming a timeless piece of the legacy it helped honor.
Nolan x Jerez: Connected by passion. United by history.

Nolan Group, together with long-time ambassador Carlos Checa, teamed up to produce a helmet exclusively to celebrate the Jerez circuit at last weekend’s MotoGP race.
Jerez was celebrating its 40th anniversary, and so the helmet maker decided to make a special lid for the circuit, but one that also highlighted its partnership with former WorldSBK champion Checa, who used a similar globe-inspired helmet when he won the title in 2011.
The one-off lid is a special edition of Nolan’s flagship X-804 RS Ultra Carbon when it comes to racing.
Along with Jerez celebrating its 40-year anniversary, the helmet was also produced to honour the 30-year partnership between Nolan and Checa.
Fans of MotoGP who attended last weekend’s Spanish round saw the helmet for the first time during the MotoGP event on Saturday, 26 April, when Checa wore it during a lap of honour.
